Even though he did not know what was mentally said to Cori, when Tantomile put her arms around his neck and fell into a deeper sleep he got himself a much better and even gently as possible grip to hold her upright. What in the world could knock her out like this ? He'd never seen her this tired before! This was both scary and well, nerveracking mostly because Munkus rarely got to even hug Tantomile as it was. And here she was hugging him! And Purring ontop of that! Well big guy, you did get something, and this time you did not have to instigate anything either! Munkus thought. He followed Cori wherever the male calico directed.
Asking aloud as they walked "You do know she is dangerously light, right ?" He said. He knew he could trust Cori with his life, Tantomile too. So he mentally said to Coricopat 'And I'm scared skatless of what my father will say when he sees me and you and I carrying your sister asleep in my arms. Lets avoid the pipe 'til later ok ?' He wanted to talk to his father yes, but he did not want to get scolded for carrying Tantomile, who was sound asleep in his arms, her arms wrapped tightly around his neck. He was glad for the moment she was not using her claws in the back of his neck. 'Unless of course you'd rather talk to Father anyhow, something Tantomile said made you nervous, your tail is bristled.' trust Munkus to notice things like that!

the calico male cocked an eyebrow when he remarked, "the energy did have to come from somewhere, the Towers require an ante from the caster you might say."
Coricopat pointed out another turn and said with a wink, "we are going to enter the Healers Den from one of the...less used entrances. it happens to closer...and do try to stop worrying so, you are doing NOTHING untoward and I CAN feel you fretting you know!"

As they walked Munkus just nodded along, OK that made zero sense "Alright wiseguy, What knocked out your sister! I know it wasn't windy out and breaking a wand is sometimes very easy to do depending on what the thing is made of" Munkus said as he carried Tantomile in his arms. "Besides, if I even tried anything, your sister would have me in the healers den much faster then we are getting her there ourselves as it is. That and you don't have the leader of the tribe breathing down your neck fur making sure your i's are rightly dotted and the t's crossed at the right angle."
As they walked Munkus sighed, "Sometimes I just don't understand it. Why father wants me to lead next when I'd much rather be out exploring the nighborhood. Had I not gone to my mothers grave like I did to happen to return to you two after seeing my uncle. I'd be locked away in my fathers den studying. And believe you me that's not fun stuff. I'd much rather swim or take time by myself in the woods to think." Like I'd rather be right this very moment now that I think about it. Holding Tantomile was a VERY big deal. He'd never done it before. So he had reason to be nervous. Mostly of what his father was going to think.
He did however calm down his nervousness when Cori spoke, the dark calico was right. Munkus was nervous, but he hadn't done anything wrong. Which was good. He felt oddly comforted while carrying Tantomile as she had her arms around him. There was something oddly comforting about it. It was just going to take some getting used to.

the calico male flicked an ear, "M..A..G..I..C...can you say maaagiic? I knew you could! she was casting a series of spells to renforce the wardings...the protections on the Yard. and got caught up in one of the side effects," he said dryly.
"and as for your Father...he may well KNOW that you'd rather be exploring, but the needs of the many out weigh the needs of the few, and if not you who? Tugger?" he continued in an even voice.

TUGGER
A large and stunning main coon was strutting through the yard. He was still looking for someone to be entertained... So he could entertain himself. Thats is.. Until he heard some commosion. He turned a corber, and there he saw coricopat and munkus. Coricopat amways gave him the shakes. With all that magic and stuff. He already had a hand full with his good buddy misto.. But cori was putting it a step higher. Speaking of steps higher. Tigger then looked at Munkus, his older brother. And he was holding Tantomile, cori's sister. And she was holding munkus... Really tight. But his flitatious smile returned when he heard his name. "What's that you've been gossiping 'bout me old bro." Tugger said as he sausered over to the trio. "Hopefully not offensive for poor old moi" he said as he slightly leaned forward and put his paw on the centre of his chest with a mock hurt look.

Speak of the devil. Munkus thought as Cori mentioned his brother, and lo and behold, his brother shouwed up. Well this was just ducky. Giving his younger brother a slightly confused look Munkus said, "Good morning sunshine. How long have you been listening in ?" He'd get back at Cori, but with his brother there, that might not have been a good idea. So he thought better of it. The needs of the few, depending on the need in question, normally outweighed the needs of the many. But Munkus kept his mouth shut about that and focused on his brother. "Have you been on the catnip again ?" After giving Tugger a careful look he shook his head, "Nah, you're harmless even with it." There was something of a smirk in his tone as he spoke. Meaning that he mean what he said in a brotherly love sort of way in order to poke fun. At least he did not ask what happen for me to be carrying Tantomile in my arms. Munkus thought. Sometimes he was glad his little brother was not a telpath! As to the gossip, well, that was a gimme, What was there to spread about his brother ? Not much.

Cori nodded with a solemn deapan expresion, "only that we were concerned for your health as your mane has been duller and seems to be thinning as of late."
he said gravely. 'let us see what he does with THAT!' sent to Munk mentaly as he peered a Tugger aparently inspecting his fur.

Munkus had to fight himself hard not to laugh or even smirk for that matter as Cori mentally spoke to him, well gee, there was something that was sure to set off Tugger. Munkus thought. 'Just don't over do it.' Munkus replied mentally. Finally he spoke up after a minute, "Listen, I'd love to stick around and chat, but the sooner I get Tantomile to the Healers Den the better, you can come with or stay here, all up to you. Tootles" With that Munkus darted off, Tantomile in his arms, towards the Healers Den side door.

TUGGER
"Aaaaw love you too big bro. And bescides i havent touched that stuf for two years,... Ok months.... Ok weeks..... Okok days..... "
he said everytime munkus' face showed more and more disbelieve.
"And who sais i'm harmless? I can swoon any lady, high or not. You should try it sometimes munk. It would loosen you up a bit. And i've been listening enough to hear you where talking about dear old moi."
He said while looking them over. But his exression turned a bit sour and cori's remark about his mane.
"Hardy har har cori, i won't faml for that one again like last time."
He said pointing a finger at cori and his other paw had its thumb inside his belt. with a stern stare he kept on looking at cori.
"Yeah,... I'll come along."
Tugger said and followed munkus while still keeping eyecontact with cori until his neck couldn't permit it anymore. So he turned his attention back to his older brother.
"Say, munk, what happend to our little chicka here? You swooned her with you boyscout charms?"
Tugger said while he opened the curtains of the backdoor to the infirmary.

Cori kept his expresion impasive, and while Tugger held the curtain open for Munkustrap and Tantomile, he called inside mentaly 'Jellylorum you have a paitent coming in! Tantomile has exhausted herself in casting!'
then the Calico male followed the others in.

Tantomile
Tanto started to awaken. Confused, she could feel herself being carried & assumed at first it was Cori. She opened her eyes to see: chest. .large muscled chest. .grey & black striped muscled large chest. . bringing her to one inescapable conclusion. This wasn't her brother,Coricopat.
The force of her embarrassment at being toted by the handsome young sentinel only got worse when she heard Tugger's unmistakable sensual voice. caused her to jerk back a little, & she stared up into Munk's face in horror.
"What? What's going on?" She asked with a harsh rasping voice.

Munkus looked daggers at his younger brother as he asked what was going on and what happened to Tantomile, but calling her a chicka in his brothers normal way seemed unwanted for the moment. As Tugger held open the hidden way into the healers den he spoke quietly to his brother, "Remind me to tell dad to focus more on your hunting lessons." He had a 'not now, stupid!' type of tone to his voice as he spoke to his brother though.
He felt tantomile shift as she was waking up. When she recoiled from him but not far enough to get him to loose his grip, he felt her body tense a bit as she then asked her question. "I wish you could tell me, just relax, I'm not going to drop you. We're just getting over to Aunt Jelly. You passed out back there and Cori thought it best you were here instead." he spoke truthfully but the slowly rising tone in his voice meant something else was going on. He smelled blood as they slipped past the pipe unnoticed by his father.
{EXIT Munkus stage left into the Healers Den}

TUGGER
Tugger was slightly surpriced at the sudden reaction of munkus.
"Wel excuse me for just asking big brother."
He said under his breath.
"And I also don't need one of those boring hunting lessons. I rather hunt of chicks then for mice thankyouverymuch."
He said watching as munkus lead tantomile into the den. And without the knowledge of coricopat alarming jenny and jelly telepathly, he shouted.
"Jelly? Jenny? Its both of your favorite tom! And we have a patient!"
He said as he closed the curtain after coricopat had entered as wel.
(Exit stage right..... LEFT, left... Yes ... I mean left.... To the healers den)

Tantomile
Tanto wasn't sure which was worse, having Munk carrying her or having Tugger see her this way. She was rather attracted to the handsome playcat, but he was waaay out of her league. She liked Munk too, but it wasn't the same. They both made her very nervous, however. Then she realized with a blush, that she'd been actually hugging Munk. What must he think of her? She was very glad it wasn't Tugger carrying her or he might have taken the hugging as an invitation. She stopped her imagination & the slight thrill that this new thought brought her before Cori could pick up on it, & let herself be carried into the den.
