Coricopat is devoted to his twin sister Tantomile. he is a bit uncertain when it comes to how to behave around queens as he has had to distance himself in order to learn how to control his abilities.
History:
adhearents of the wiccan tradition Coricopat and his sister were born into a coven on the Isle of Man. there they received training in their gifts and mysticisim.
each focused upon their abilities but as he was not expected to be a familiar as his sister was his training focused mostly upon his gifts. his study of rituialistic magic was viewd as more of a side sline and was encouraed as a way to help Tantomiles studies.
they came to London when their human attended university and then setteled in the city.
they found their way to the junkyard one night when they heard the siren call of Jemmima, then a small kitten practicing her scales with Deutoronmy and Gus. when the Jellicle Leader greeted them graciously and spoke with tender dignity of the tribe they were reminded of their own so far away. after several such visits it was clear that they had found themselves another family. over time he has come to offer his advice to the Tribe and it's leaders.
while exploring the Yard and it's surroundings he found a bricked up Cival Defense bomb shelter which had been bricked up abandondend and forgoten after the Great War many many yeas ago and moved into it claiming it as his den. like his sister he uses portions as his "Workroom", however as his magical activities are of a less imidiate nature, his workroom is coresespondingly less chaotic and...messy. his colections of literature tend to be of a more recent vintage than his sisters in order to give a better feel for what may or may not be a sign or portent. of particular interst are the works on Astronomy for following the apropriate moon phases and stellar posistions.
Powers:
Coricopat is both a telapath with empathic overtones, and a postcognietive. unfortunately the three have a tendancy to bleed together if a particularly strong event happened in a place or if he gets distracted, then he can get caught up in reliving the events of the past, something that is no where NEAR as fun as it sounds! he tries to steer clear of The Tower Of London.
his abilties become stronger and clearer with proximity with his sister without her his telapthy has a rangey of aproxamitly fifty yards give or take depending on conditions.
like his sister he is a ritualist versed in non combative magics, particularly the reading of signs and portents. most of the spells require long and elaborate preperations and cerimonies (typicly hours or even days...) and often they are dependet upon variables such as lunar/stellar seasonal alignments being just so,(the casting reaching its peak on the third hour, of the third day, of the third week of the third month etc...), and those that don't such as reading tea leaves or cards still reuire props.
RP Sample:
the moon rode high in the night sky, a sky crossed with scutteling clouds that cast shadows resembeling the coat of the male calico as he tok his perch overlooking the junkyard. Coricopat sighed there was allways such a glow after a
Ball! the mingelling of hopes fullfilled and the frustrations of those not the highs and lows could still be felt for days. and now was a time for quiet introspection to try and sort who'se feelings were whouse so theyed be able to help those who needed it.
Comments: like his sister he is a scholar though he is more of a genralist n his studies the better to interpert portants.
