Physical Appearance: Black and rust-colored tortoiseshell, with green
eyes. She's rather small and fast-moving.
Personality:
Loyal: Once she has determined to respect/stay with/follow/support someone, her loyalty is unwavering. So far the only cat who has her complete loyalty is Macavity. In her eyes, he can do no wrong. Although many of his qualities and actions are ones she would not embrace herself, she does not question them in him.
Obedient: Her obedience naturally accompanies her loyalty. If Macavity says "jump," she says "how high?" She may squabble with fellow Henches over what is to be done in a particular situation, but once the leader has given an order, she obeys without further comment.
No-Nonsense:
Merciful: Unlike most other Henches, Whippoorwill's first inclination is not to kill and maim. Warding off enemy attackers (Jellicle or otherwise) and taking prisoners is one thing. But she sees no reason for killing defenseless creatures in cold blood, or unnecessarily beating up an enemy who has clearly had enough. Her preference is to spare lives when she can; once Macavity has ordered a death, however, she will carry it out with no further debate, and no amount of pleading can persuade her otherwise.
