She did have an 'adopted' family, though they were more her age, so they were like adopted brothers/sisters. However a gang, presumably the same one that killed her biological family tracked her down and her adopted family; including her mate, protected her and helped her to escape. Though they died in the process.
Physical Appearance: She is pretty average in size, height and weight. She is lean and fit, though has no muscles in her stomach or arms. Her legs however, have some pretty powerful muscles; this only makes her insecure about her 'thighs'. She is a black, grey and white calico queen. She has flecks of other colors throughout her fur. Her heritage is pretty much all over the place, though she does have two significant features that go beyond "average"; something that sets her apart from all the other "mutts". She has her mane done up in twin braids, and she has a black patch of fur that goes over both of her eyes, a bit like a mask.

Personality: Despite the tragedies that have befallen her two families and seem to follow her everywhere, she is not bitter, skittish or worse off for it. She has taken what she's endured in her life and has become stronger and a better individual because of it. Don't get her wrong, she is a headstrong and stubborn cat. The stubbornness is a double-edged sword, it will sometimes serve her well and help her stick to her principals and her own morals. However, it has also been known to get her into trouble as well. Adriaira, is quite a witty queen, and full of sass. She can be unpredictable, for she is also friendly to others and open. Though despite that she is open about her past, she treats it as a big game. For the most part she will answer questions about her past with a question. If you work at it, she will eventually give you an honest answer, but Adriaira is a bit difficult. She'll make others work at getting her to open up or work at becoming her friend. Adriaira does have trust issue's but they are subconscious; her being difficult is is unconscious way of figuring out who she can trust and who she can't. Adri is also a bit on the sarcastic side, though this goes toe to toe with her sass. And normally she is sassy and/or sarcastic with toms who flirt or hit on her. In spite of her more serious side, she does have a a sense of humor, only she has a more literal sense of humor.
History: she was born to a loving family, however tragedy was lurking in the shadows. Her family often did civil and friendly business with a local gang that called themselves The Followers of Fayd. They weren't too close to the gang, just some friendly business. However, the Leader of The Followers of Fayd; Monty, ran into little Adriaira during one of his business deals with Adri's father. Monty took an instant liking to her, despite the fact that she was a small kitten at the time and he was slightly older then her father. His attraction to Adriaira started small, but he was attracted to her body and wanted her in a very inappropriate way. Monty never touched Adri in that way, though his obsession towards her grew.
Adri's father was acutely aware of Monty's growing feelings for his little girl and his over protectiveness towards Adri constantly grew. Eventually one of the Fayd Brutes sent by Monty invaded there home intent on taking Adriaira to their Master. Adriaira's parents did the only thing parents could do. They killed the Brute to protect Adri, and then sent her into hiding. Monty sought revenge on such an aggressive move towards him and his gang. He retaliated and murdered her parents. He couldn't find Adriaira, which only angered him further. He continued to lead his gang, but he recruited others to be his "contacts" in case Adriaira ever popped back in the city. He STILL wanted her.
An older tom; though barely out of his teen years, named Siphon found the young Adri, cold, alone and hungry. He took her to his home where three others lived, three others who were also found abandoned and brought in by Siphon. Jackell, Shyleena, and Danyenn. These four became her new family and they raised her. Though they were all roughly the same age, this only seemed to strengthen their family ties to one another. So much so, that the five became inseparable, and would die for each other if it came down to it. Like with growing up, hormones and all that, they were still a tight knit family, but romantic ties began to form as well. Siphon and Jackell often competed for the affections of Shyleena (who was so into her crafts and trinkets that she was blissfully unaware).
Though eventually Adri and Danny intervened and Shyleena naturally fell into a triad with the other two toms. As for Adri, she fell pretty hard for Danyenn and they didn't pussy-foot around like their friends had. Their love and their relationship was short lived. As they continued to grow, they became more active within the city, even helping others in need. This brought a lot of attention to themselves, and eventually the wrong attention. One of Monty's contacts caught wind of the group and saw one in particular that matched the right description. Monty had finally found and tracked down Adriaira. He was ecstatic to have Adri back in his life and was determined to make her his mate.
When he found out she already had a mate, he was angered beyond words. Sending his brutes out and himself, he found their home and broke in. He overpowered them quite easily, and when he tried to grab and kiss Adri, Danyenn broke free of his binds and attacked Monty. He had used Adri to figure out which tom was hers and made an example of Danny in front of the group. She was forced to watch Danny bleed out and was told the rest of her "family" would be killed if she didn't become mates with Monty. Shyleena, Siphon and Jackell loved both Danny and Adri so much that, later when they were alone with Adri, they came up with a plan.
They became a distraction to Monty and his brutes so that Adri could get away. They designated a 'safe house', and that they would meet Adri there after they got away and lost them. Adri did make it to the safe house, but after waiting there for three days, she quietly went back towards her home, to see what she expected. Monty and his brutes seemed to be absent from the area, but Shyleena, Siphon and Jackell all laid there dead, next to Danyenn. She knew she should have run from there, find a new place to hide from The Followers of Fayd; or to surrender to Monty.
But this was her family, the ones she truly knew, as she couldn't remember her parents. So she stayed, they deserved a proper burial, and that was the least she could do for her loved ones. She took the time to bury them, and it did take her time to drag them all out to the woods to bury them. But she did it. During that time, she was once again spotted by one of Monty's contacts. Monty and his brutes once again set out for her, to hunt her down and bring her back to the Followers of Fayd, kicking and screaming if they had to. And that brings us back to the present, Adri is currently in the city on the run from Monty and his brutes.

Adri moved into the junkyard her dark blue eyes surveying the area. There were a couple jellicles nearby and she smirked as she walked forward. Her hips moved from side to side as she made her entrance. "Howdy boys." The tip of her black and white tail flicked in slight annoyance, only none showed on her face. More of an amused and stubborn glare. "You won't find my eyes down there on my boobs. Up here." Her finger was down by her breasts and she pointed up, just in case they didn't get it. Sarcasm was evident in her voice, though there was still some mild amusement in her tone.
