Physical Description: Jana is a Maine Coon mix, half-Maine Coon half-Siamese. As she takes after her father, she is tall for a female & big-boned. She has a strong musculature & a graceful way of moving. Very curvy, with a lusciously feminine body, she also has a full ruff very like Tugger's in brown, & gold with white accents & a long, wild, curly mane. Like many Maine Coons, she has extra fingers & toes, but she has been de-clawed. Her eyes are an unusual blue/green color. Her facial features are an exotic blend of the blunt round Maine Coon & the sculptured features of the Siamese.

Personality: Patient & stubborn. Jana is a very quiet cat. She rarely loses her temper not matter the provocation. She doesn't care to fight, so she will out-wait any anger or mood another happens to be in. When she is working on a project & having trouble, she will re-do it as many times as necessary to get it right.
Imaginative, Jana thinks outside the box; she looks at things from all angles before suggesting a solution. Sometimes her suggestions are doable, sometimes not, but they're generally worth listening to.
Caring & empathetic. Jana too is very good at reading people & emotions, but her soft heart tends to get in the way-making her somewhat gullible. She wants to believe in the goodness in people & has been often disappointed by others. She isn't a wimp or a pushover, however, if she feels it necessary, she will quietly but firmly stand up to anyone or anything-even her beloved mate.
Low self-esteem. Growing up in an upper crust family-the only one who wasn't a full Siamese, Jana was treated like an embarrassment where she doesn't have the slim delicate build. Because of this, she rarely believes that there is anything good or attractive about herself & often acts in a self-deprecating manner.
History: Jana comes from a very wealthy upper-crust family. Ironically, she is the wealthy one, as her former human had died & left her beloved kitten millions. She was sent to live with her mother's human family who resented the fact that the Cat owned everything. While she had all the essentials, she didn't get much in the way of affection from either her mother or the humans. Then Sundancer was born. As their mother wasn't very maternal, Dancer's care fell to Jana, & she loves her little sister dearly.
Jana's mother & step-father, who were extremely greedy, decided to sell Jana in an upper-crust mateship-touting her to be a pure-blood Maine Coon. On the eve of the mateship Jana was kidnapped & brought to Macavity. Her step-brother, Reginald, a gambler & a libertine, had participated in a rigged game with Mac himself & wagered his hated step-sister & lost. Being self-centered & an idiot, he never realized the stipulation of the wealth they enjoyed, was her continued well-being.
When Jana was seized in the family garden, Dancer was with her & refused to be parted from her beloved sister. They were both taken to the warehouse. Jana was de-clawed & then de-flowered by Macavity, who found her to be a delightful bonus. He'd been planning to use her wealth & social connections to further some of his own plans.
Enter Hershel & his partner, Timothy. Desperate to get their meal ticket back, her parents had hired the mercenary pair to rescue Jana & return her to the bosom of her family. Using judiciously applied violence, the pair rescued not only Jana, but Dancer as well, discovering not only kindred spirits, but a strong attraction to the females entrusted to them. Jana, deeply in love with Hershel, gave up her home & family to be with her handsome hero.

RP Sample: Jana smiled a little drowsily, despite the drugs coursing through her, she was feeling warm & safe. She wasn't sure why her parents would send him to save her, unless it had something to do with gain-they were obsessed with money, & the comfort it could buy. With a purr, the fluffy queen settled almost in his lap, really he was the nicest tom she'd ever met. She snuggled her face into his strong chest.
"I have a step-brother, the son of my step-father, he enjoys money too. He's Dancer's actual half-brother. He likes to gamble, but he's not good at it. From what I was told, he got in over his head in a card game with Macavity himself, & he used me as collateral. He proceeded to lose me to Macavity in a high stakes game.
Dancer & I were out by the garden sunning ourselves when we were suddenly surrounded by black cats. They brought us here." she faltered a little. "I don't even know how long we have been here. I think they saw Dancer as a bonus, because the old female who prepared me for. . Macavity's attentions, was surprised to see her. Maybe our parents don't know about her being snatched too."
"Thank you for helping her." Jana gave him a soft kiss on the cheek. "If we get her out of here alive & well, I'm sure, you could practically name your reward from them."
Comments: Jana is a nurturer. She's the team's support person. She is an excellent cook, forager, & an herbalist/healer. While no powers, she's extremely intelligent & loves to read. Her primary role not that of a fighter, but Hershel has made sure she can defend herself if necessary. Coming from an upper-crust family, she also has many social skills, including observation, charm & is a social chameleon-able to fit in reasonably well with every strata of society.
