TUGGER
Tugger was listening to his brother until he felt a sharp pain he hadn't felt in a very long time.
"Auw auw .... Jelly .... I don't know what tour doing but last time i checked auw... I'm an adult ... Auw...."
Tugger said as he was draged outside. He didn't saw any reaction the other where giving him. But a sideways glance at munkus. Made him realize tey went to far with something.... But what? He thought to himself. When jelly released them outside he inmediatly spinned around.
"Ok jelly, you know i respect you and all. But in all of bast and rumpuscat, why did you do that. Me and munkus where only talking. And about me finding a steady mate. You know, the thing my fathers wants."
He said already defending himself without knowing what the problem is.

"I think that is the least of our worries little brother" Munkus said softly. He found a place to sit and all but collapsed onto the can in a heap. He put his head in his paws and rubbed down his face. Nope, not a dream. It was reality. He and his brother had just offended two good friends of theirs in the worst way possible. He sighed. But nodded towards Jelly, "Its true Aunt Jelly, what I about Tugger and Bomba together was indeed true. We're not kittens anymore. And I'm worried. Father wants us both to find someone. And well...."
Once more Munkus delved into the backlog of events, of his patrol by the cemetary, he left out the part about his uncle and the alleycats, but he detailed carrying Tantomile from outside her den to the healers den and how she had hugged him as he carried her, and then the little chat he and his brother had, He didn't even leave out what he felt in his heart as he carried Tantomile either. Then of course there was that ringing in his ears too that seemed to just pained screaming now.
"For all I know, Tantomile and her brother misinterpreted what we were talking about. Its not just Tugger either. Something inside me just went calm, as if I were carrying someone I really truly cared about. Heck I was tempted to chuck Tugger out of the healers den and Cori with him and pledge to Tanto right then and there when we got to the cot!" Love worked in weird ways. And Munkus sadly was at its whims. He took a deep breath and then let it out. "Now for all I know, we hurt Tanto's feelings with what we were saying. And that was the last thing I'd ever wanted to occur, even moreso to her."
It was clear he was at a complete loss of what to do at that moment. First his uncle offered to train him, and Munkus had accepted, but was worried of what his father would say, and now Tantomile was most likely hurt by his words when he meant what he said of love working in weird ways and how he saw Tugger and Bomba together in recent months. Of all that was good in the world he just wanted, at that moment, to just hide under his bed in his fathers den and just try to sleep away the nights wrongs as if he were a kitten. Though he knew for a fact that Cori was angered at him. And that in itself was not a good thing, Not at all.
He had seen the distress in his friends posture, and felt the venom in his friends thought to him. He made a very big mistake. "It's my fault. This whole night is a disaster." Munkus looked miserable.

TUGGER
Tugger suddenly had a concerned look.
"Whoa whoa, so that what its all about? About us talking about tanto? Listen jelly AND YOU TWO INSIDE THE INFIRMERY!! YEAH I KNOW YOU CAN HEAR US WITH YOUR MIND THINGIES."
Tugger shouted makig sure everybody was listening.
"If one should be blamed it is me jelly. Munkus here is the botscout himself. He would never talk bad about anybody. He just asked my counseling about that matter. And you know me jelly, I tend to talk more then I should, ... Sometimes. But the point is. Munkus is in complete dissaray now. He loves two queens at the same time. So to me the most logical solution could be a triad. You know so none would be left alone. Not so that munkus gets it every day. But because he have love enough for the whole tribe. As far as dad explained it, a triad is a love shared by three jellicles so everyone loves each other as equals. So yes the queens love each other as wel as they love the tom. And then we where just kept on joning about it. Nothing serious. So pleas TANTO?!"
He shouted making sure the queen in the infirmary was listening.
"My big brother has the weight of the yard AND his dad on his shoulder. And everything was planned for him. Yes he loves Demeter. But this new found love for you has made him confused. And i just putted things in his mind. So if you need someone to be angry at, to give headaches with your mindpowers or to blame... THEN. BLAME. ME!"
Tugger shouted the last three words to make sure the queen even got it without her mind reading. He was just fed up with everything going on, that Munkus was getting the blame for everything whole he didn't do anything wrong.

Tantomile
The dark calico flinched at every accusatory word out of Tugger's mouth. What had she done wrong? All she'd ever wanted was someone who would treat her as special, someone to love her. Her half-formed romantic dreams & illusions shattered, she closed her eyes desperately wanting to be anywhere but here.
Slowly given her tired state, her emotional distress generated energy & without her conscious knowledge, her powers activated causing her to fade & disappear like the Cheshire cat.

Jellylorum
Jellylorum folded her arms & simply waited while the two bristling defensive males attempted to justify their behavior. Her tail lashing, quietly, she stared at them until they finally stopped speaking. In a very calm voice, first she addressed Tugger, "I see, so your answer to hurting that inoffensive little queen's feelings is to shout & make her feel worse. While your loyalty to your brother is laudable, she has never done anything to deserve being treated so shabbily-by either of you."
Jelly turned away from the males for a moment trying to remain calm. Yelling at them would serve little purpose, no matter how tempting. She spied a lovely night-blooming flower & gently plucked it. Turning, she showed it to them. The lovely rich scent teased the night air, & it was truly beautiful. Then she gave a sharp shake of her hand & all the petals fell, leaving a bare stem.
"Many females are like this flower. Soft, beautiful & in some ways delicate. If treated well, with care, they share their love & beauty, but if treated harshly or carelessly, some of their beauty can be destroyed." Softly, willing them to understand, she spoke again, looking them each in the eye, "This isn't about you-this is about the girl you hurt. While a certain amount of posturing about mating is understandable if juvenile, I expect better from both of you. Until you learn that queens are not toys & sex is not a game. I highly doubt either of you will form a permanent mateship with even one queen, let alone multiple ones. I'm not going to lecture you further, or mention it to your father-yet, but I suggest you find a way to make it up to Tantomile. Saying, 'I'm sorry' & treating her & the other females with more respect may be a good place to start."

"Heyheyhey,... Hold on a minute. We neer accusated anything. I've putted all the blame of this on me. We have been showing regrett. But we never intended to offend anybody. The disscusion was just that munkustrap was feeling confused with his new found feelings for tantomile."
Tugger said in a more serene voice.
"That concersation was all to avoid all of this. Munkus never wanted to hurt others. Especially the ones he loves. But those feelings where tearing him appart. He had deme but didn't know what to do. So i threw in that whole triad thing as a joke. And i will appologize for that, it was stupid of me to even joke about that. But we never meant anything to even slightmy mention that queens are toys and sex is a game. Why do you even think that i'm looking for a steady mate?"
He said as he relaxed more.
"But tantomile also has to see in that in what kind of dissaray munkus is in right now. He has the weight of everything on his shoulder. And he never intended to hurt her. Just look at her jelly."
He said as he pointed toward his brother.
"Does it look like he is happy with all of this? He may have lost two good friends and with of then he developed feelings for. I'm bot saying that we've done is nothing. But of the both of us.... He difintly deserve a second chanse."
He said as he looked directly at the older patron. Defending his brother like he was a lawer.

Cori gave a sad sigh as he watched his sister do her Cheshire Fade...and Tuggers comment about headaches...if he only knew. feeling the emotions of EVERYONE involved was sort of like being the taffey on a Taffey puller. while the others were still outside he seteled himself down and began to meditate to regain his balance and composure.

Jelly sighed, They still didn't get it, well at least Tugger didn't seem to. Didn't he realize how much more attractive he was when he showed that more responsible side? She looked at Munkustrap. He looked ill & miserable. The butter calico relented, gently she shooed Munkustrap off. "Go think about it. I'm sure you'll come up with something to make it up to her." then she turned back to Tugger rather sadly. "I agree, your brother has a great deal of responsibility, but so does Tantomile. she guards us from magical attacks & pays for it in her own blood. She suffers from an extreme shyness as well-so your ill-advised comments hurt her."
She looked through the door, noted Cori's posture & just knew that the slender form in the bed was gone. Jelly closed her eyes, Tanto had disappeared like that whenever she was sorely stressed, & it was hard to tell where she'd gone or when she'd reappear. She just hoped the little queen was all right.
"I would send you to apologize, but I think she is gone."
The petite queen, who despite being a matron, was only a year or so older than he, reached out & stroked his mane a little. "You have a sweet romantic heart in there somewhere, my dear. Perhaps you should listen to it more."

Tugger was almost at the point of giving up. 'Why would nobody see it ever on my side?' He thought to himself. He never intended to hurt or insult anybody. And that tanto has an anxiety problem is also not his fault. He was just joking around with munkus. He wanted his brother to be happy. To see a solution to his dilemma. Not .... This. Ok, he would appologize to tantomile. But his intentions where never to insult anybody, so to him this was an overreaction. But for now, he gave up. He turned to his brother and looked at him.
"You better do what jelly sais munk. Or else you might have no ears left when the night falls."
He said with a slight smile. Then he turned around to jelly.
"Ok jelly I give up. But I still thinks she's in there. Is she really has extreme shyness she maybe just curled around in a ball and made herself invisible. And I can still smell it that she's nearby."
He said slightly fed up with this whole situation. As he said before. To his he was just joking around. Not insulting. But soon he relaxed as jellyorium stroked his mane. His father used to do that whenever he was troubled.
"Maybe your right jelly. But to all i'm just a playboy who only thinks about sex. So getting that image away would be almost impossible."
He said as he shook his head slightly.
"And maybe you're right. I'm probably not fit to have a steady mate.... Let alone a triad."

'your generous offer on your Brothers behalf is ACCEPPTED, in my eyes at least, the responsibility, or irresponsibility is yours.
as dificult as it may be I CAN see your side AND Munk's , AND Tantomiles.
and that is why I reacted the way that I did, for I could FEEL just how hurt my sister was, how something that should have been beautiful and special insteady felt...dirty. how earnestly Munk had felt and then well you for whoum it seemed to be nothing just an inconsiquential JOKE....and Tugger take it from the person whouse "ear" you shout in whenever you see a pretty Queen and some Toms for that matter! your Libido has a very...loud, clear Baratone! and you have more leadership potential than you know.'
Cori sent to Tugger mentaly as he came out of then den and walked over to Tugger and Jelly. aloud he said as he put a paw on the toms shoulder, "if you would like to CHANGE that image I would offer my assistance if I may. and bye the bye she did not SAY that you weren't fit to have a mate just that you need to work on....thinking before speaking!"

Tugger was first a bit startled when he heard a voice in his head. But a mental picture came to mind of coricopat.
'Wel to me a triad is something beautifull. How three jellicle can love each other as equals. That is beautifull. And who knows ... Maybe somedah something beautifull as that will wander through the yard.'
Tugger thought back to coricopat.
'About my responsability's. As i said before it's completely my fault for brining it up. And i would feel really bad if, because of me and my big mouth, my brother would feel miserable.'
Tugger mentally thought as he shook his head.
'And thanks for letting me know how my sexlife sounds. But leadership? Me? Ha,... If even my father won't see that? Then i don't think that that could actually happen.'
He mentally chuckled.
"Ah cori, glad you could join us as wel."
He said out loud to not draw sucpision that he had a conversation ik his head.
"But you would need miricals to get that image away. Escpecially with my way of living and streetfame. And i got that to think after speaking or mostly during speaking. So I don't know if it would be possible. But I invite you to try."
He said with a slight bow from his waist.

then he smiled at Jellylorum "good day My Lady." he said.

the dark calico male gave an egmatic smile, 'to a POINT, but beyond that what they see are reflections of how YOU see yourself. and in stepping up for your Brother, something that you WOULD NOT have done if you were as shallow as you you belive yourself to be, you have shown that there IS more. sorry you have taken those tottering kitten steps into behaveing like a Grown Up!' he sent him. carefull he began to groom his short fur.

Munkus listened as his brother spoke and defended him of all cats. He stared slackjawed as he listened to his brother. As far as he knew he was only making things worse! But when Aunt Jelly saw how he looked and told him to head off and think about it. He knew he had the only chance he could get to think over what was in turmoil within him. He stood with a nod, without saying anything or even looking towards Cori mostly because of how he felt within himself. He mouthed to Jelly as he passed her 'Thank you.' He then went to places unknown.
He'd have to make it up to his brother later.

Jelly turned towards Cori with a sigh looking away from the handsome infuriating tom in front of her. Win some lose some, she supposed. She nodded gently to Munk as he escaped-probably feeling very guilty. Poor Munkustrap & poor Tantomile. She wished Tugger had gotten her point. Some females & males too for that matter, needed gentle handling that was all. She snorted to herself. Well, she was one to talk. She'd had special feelings for Tugger ever since she'd met him & had yet to say or do anything about it. She admitted she likely wouldn't either. Bombalurina was more his speed-not a plain queen everyone thought of as a 'matron'. She still didn't understand the attraction, it wasn't his looks or charm-many of the actors she'd met were more handsome, yet there was . .something.
"So Coricopat, was Tantomile all right? What happened anyway?" she asked. |

Tugger gave a small audible chuckle.
'Yeah, if only my father would be here. He would be very proud. Listen cori, you can help however you want I give you full permission. But i want two base rules. Number uno: no studying books days in and out. Secundo: whatever happens. When and if i do something wrong... Use your mind thing ... And from afar.... I still got an image to uphold being thaught by anyone who is my age that treats me like a kitten, is NOT good for that image. Only in private we can discuss things out loud and that means: my den, your den, or any place that has no jellicle listen to what we say? If you agree to these two rules. I'll try my best to follow. But whatever happens... And this a third rule i just came up with.... Don't you dare to try to turn me into a boyscout like my older brother munk. I wouldn't be able to move with myself.'
He said slightly shuddring at the thought of being so uptight even a broom would be jealouse of how straight his back was. Without waiting for answer he turned towards jelly and saw a sort or .. Regret in her face. Being a lot on street, you have to be able to read your opponement... Is he scared? Determent? Suicidal? Mental? Those where all signs at how to handle him. But with non threatening jelllicles, like his fellow junkyard inhabitants. It was usefull to tell what they where feeling. When cori answerd her question he laid his paw on he shoulder and made her turn toward him.
"Listen, jelly. I'm terribly sorry for what i did. And i will make my excuses toward tantomile in time. But i want to you to know. I would never hurt a queen in any way. So it hurts me as wel that i behaved like that. Yes i do flirt with a lot of them. But i never forced one or even insulted them.... Except there where a couple who liked that.... But thats bescides the point. What i'm trying to get it is, that i'm sorry for my behavior toward you. I had put the maybe future relationship of munk and tanto in danger by opening my big mouth and wanted to make things right but i screwed it up more. By shouting and trying,.... Failing actually, to keep my pride up and trying to convince we didn't do anything wrong. So..... I'm sorry."
Tugger said af he leaned down a bit and gave a small kiss on jelly's cheeck and in return his wiskeres graced the place where he had planted the small kiss...

Jelly smiled at Tugger's soft kiss, her foolish heart jumping a bit. Sternly, she told her wayward organ to calm itself. Tugger handed out kisses like candy after all. . still a bit of sweet never hurt anyone. She turned back, the smile lighting her face a bit. She reached out before she could stop herself & stroked his cheek.
"It's all right my dear, I'm sorry I lost my temper. I'm sure you will make it up to Tantomile. . .just please, be gentle with her. Besides, my dear, I never said you didn't deserve a wonderful relationship-even a triad if that's what you truly wish. You will form a relationship when you're ready & have found the right mate for you."
She turned away again going over to clean up some of the treatment areas. "So Cori, was she doing a regular casting, or was this one for a special reason? is there something we should be alarmed about?"

"it strarted as a routine casting, then on some intuition Tantomile decided to call upon the Towers. after she did she said that she felt something odd...then she became caought up in some of the sideeffects you might say," he said as he fell into step beside her. he couldn't help but notice that the danceing she had been doing with Demeter and Bombalurina showed in her carriage and stride, OR that it suited her very well!

When tugger looked back at jelly, he saw something in her eyes. Something ... He didn't knew what it was. But knew that whatever it is... Its something he hadn't seen that often. But for now.... He led it slide. He was listening to tantoiles answer to jelly's question. And he began to wonder...
"And have you got any clue to who or what did this to tantomile.... It's not my big, red and bad brother is it?"
He said slightly getting concerned about this whole matter...
