Character Name:
Eponine
Tribal Affiliation:
None, would like to be with the jellicles. Currently on the street.
Tribal Position: YES this is my picture.
Physical Description:
Age:15
Gender:
Female
Family: Mother and father...not particularly in her life. All they care about are hustling others.
Personality:
Flirty:
Eponine comes off as flirty and witty. She is proud of that exterior she has created. She certainly has the body for it. Eponine was taught by her parents to get what she wanted. She saw how her mother always seemed to put toms in a trance before swiping their satchels as they panted in anticipation. Then she would leave them on her own will. Eponine viewed this quality like it was the master plan. Her father pushed her to be like this. You would think a father would want more from his daughter, and seeing her be so provocative would disappoint him. Not poor Eponines', she actually thought he enjoyed it, something that sickened her deep inside. None the less, she knows how to get what she wants by using her talents.
Romantic:
Eponine is a hopeless romantic. She has always dreamed of finding that one tom. She only wants to be happy. She gets tired of the hustling life, always scrounging for your next meal. Despite that fact her parents thought they were entitled to everything, Eponine knew she was not. She tries to play things off with a coy smile, but inside she is always assessing, wondering, hoping her dream comes true.
The Singer:
Eponine has the voice of an angel. Her words are filled with her emotion. She uses it as her outlet. Her voice easily rivals Jemima's, but in a positive way. While hers has a more alto quality and Jemima's more soprano. They are at each end of the spectrum. Should the two of them ever be able to sing together, their harmony would be sought by every ear.
Morale:
Eponine is very different from her family. Where they gamble, steal and take others for granted, she can not bring it upon herself to do the same. Now for food to survive she will. However for things like trinkets, blankets, and other odds and ends, she will not. Eponine, despite what she was taught, always felt it to be wrong to take what was not hers. She always used her charms to be given what she received, and she would often share it with her family.
History: Eponine was born in France. Her mother and father lived at an Inn with some of the most deplorable people. Unfortunately, her parents took up the humans less admirable traits. They did it to survive and seem....distinguished to other jellicles. They would provide very well for Eponine. Her father often gave her lessons on how to 'bleed the customers pockets'. He stole often, the slight of hand was something they both excelled at. Eponine watched. Studied. She learned it all by the time she was 13. However the family moved on to London. Where they now live in less then honorable conditions.
Eponine felt her father getting a little to close to her and her mother becoming a feature in the background. All she care about was profit, getting all she could get. Her father...seemingly doing the same. Making passed at Eponine, then blanketing that pass with a fatherly gesture. She was a beautiful princess. Very developed for her age. She was not tall at all, she was petite, but her figure was statuesque. Large prominent breasts, a small narrow waist, into beautiful full hips. Her white, gray and black coat only seemed to accentuate her features and her piebold white markings on her face accentuated her full, brown pouty lips and large brown eyes. Eponine was the impediment of beauty....and her father knew it.
After his last attempt to be with her, Eponine had barely escaped with her innocence. The princess was distraught, betrayed. She hated him. She had an idea of what romance was and her own father was NOT it. She left. She moved further into London. Into the city. The theater district was safe enough. She liked to watch them. She even saw an older cat perform before. She thought he was magnificent. She would watch him teach the others and wonder why her father wasn't like him. She even followed him to the big Junkyard once. She wanted to go in so badly...but she stopped herself. He was a good tom. She was a bad princess. The others in there were probably decent like him. She stayed in the streets. She became known to a few of them. They liked her. Called her out from across the street just to talk to her. Though her life was never stable, she was happier here then with her parents. She would never give up her dream, of finding her love of her life and settling down. She also wished to find out what compelled her to that yard so badly.
Powers: n/a
RP Sample: Staring at the yard again. The petite princess had her cheek cupped in the palm of her hand. Her large brown eyes darted from entrance to entrance, trying to catch any glimpse of those wondrous jellicles. Eponine knew it was only a fantasy, but it is all she had right now. She saw a smudge of dirt on her thigh, she sighed and cleaned it. The another, and another. Even her pretty white cheek has a smudge of dirt. What she wouldn't give for a simple brush, or a more steady place to live. She always had to move to another place. When to many toms found out where she lived, she moved. She moved often. She heard more and more about these jellicles in the yard. It was safe there. Safe? the word seemed as foreign to her as her French did to them. At least she had learned English long ago, but her frustrations often brought out her native language. What would it take to get in this place. Her tail swished idly behind her. She sighed and pulled herself away from staring at the yard. She started walking back towards town to see if she could find something to eat.
Comments: Eponine does know slight of hand. She had practiced it all her life. She would be an excellent thief if her morality were not an issue. She is also talented in sneaking around un noticed. She can easily gather information. Lastly, she is skilled in flirting, especially to get what she wants. Most toms view it as teasing and they quite like it.
